Quercus robur, commonly known as English oak, is one of the best-known native trees in the Netherlands. This strong avenue tree is valued for its long lifespan, robust appearance, and high ecological value. It provides food and habitat for many insects, birds, and other wildlife.

Thanks to its strong root system and good adaptability, Quercus robur is suitable for avenues, parks, green areas, and larger gardens. The tree develops into an impressive specimen with a broad crown and makes a valuable contribution to biodiversity and climate adaptation.

At our nursery, Quercus robur is transplanted several times. This encourages a well-branched root ball, allowing the tree to establish well and develop strongly after planting.
