Fagus orientalis ‘Iskander’ is een bijzondere selectie van de Oosterse beuk met een slanke, smal opgaande zuilvorm. Deze boom groeit recht en compact, waardoor hij ideaal is voor lanen, pleinen en stedelijke aanplant waar weinig ruimte in de breedte is. Het blad is glanzend donkergroen, lijkt op dat van de gewone beuk, en verkleurt in de herfst naar warm geelbruin. Een duurzame en sierlijke boom met een krachtige uitstraling.
