Catalpa bignonioides NanaTrompetboom

Catalpa bignonioides ‘Nana’ is een compacte, bolvormige boom die vaak op stam wordt geënt. De kroon blijft klein en rond, met grote frisgroene bladeren die in de herfst geel verkleuren. Door zijn geringe omvang en sierlijke vorm is de bolcatalpa zeer populair in tuinen, pleinen en smalle straten. De boom bloeit niet of nauwelijks, waardoor hij onderhoudsvriendelijk en geschikt is voor toepassingen dicht bij terrassen en zitplekken.
