Acer rubrum Autumn FlameRode esdoorn

Acer rubrum ‘Autumn Flame’ is een middelgrote esdoorn die geroemd wordt om zijn zeer vroege en opvallende herfstkleur. Het blad kleurt al vanaf eind september felrood tot scharlakenrood, vaak eerder dan andere cultivars. De boom heeft een brede, eivormige kroon en groeit relatief snel. Dankzij de sierwaarde en de sterke kroonopbouw is dit een uitstekende park- en laanboom, maar ook zeer geschikt als solitair in grote tuinen.
